About the Artist
Hello, I’m Hayley. I am an Irish artist specialising in wildlife and domestic animals. A native of Kildare Town, I don’t have to look far for inspiration with the Curragh on my doorstep.
My recognisable style features many washes of acrylic paint and spray paint which come together to create movement and energy to capture the personality of each subject.
I like to describe my style as loose and imperfect. Using a mix of abstract brushstrokes and splashes of colour, along with more traditional techniques, I aim to capture the animal’s individual character and quirks that make you love them so much.
Original Paintings
Inspired by all forms of wildlife, from the Curragh Plains to the African Plains, I strive to reveal the quirkiness in some of the most unassuming characters.
You will be able to find some of my available original pieces lining the walls of Harte’s Bar and Restaurant, Market Square, Kildare Town.
Commissions
Commissions make up the bulk of my portfolio to date. No creature is off limits. There is always a story behind each commission and I aim to bring that story to life.
Creating a commission of your pet is much more than just putting paint onto a canvas. I love bringing out the true essence of your furry friend’s personality.
Each commission is a truly collaborative process between myself and the client to create an eye catching feature for your home that is sure to be a conversation starter.
